Girls & Loos

Guys, ever wondered why gals need to visit the loo in twos or more? Isn't peeing supposed to be a lone ranger thing? How come girls seem to pee at the same time? Is it a coincidence?

Uh huh, the truth unveils.

1) Did you know its rude not to invite? Girls love to invite others to visit the loo together as its not very nice to take off alone. Others will gossip about you once you leave, right?

2) Girls hate being alone or being seen alone. They like to have company wherever they go.It's girl thing. You won't get it, it's okay.

3) If you have a female in your life, you probably knew that the queue at the female loos are so damn bloody long. Your time you spent loitering outside the lavatories could be better spent on gaming huh. Bring along a friend to chat whilst girls queue does make the time pass faster indeed.

4) Be it for security reasons, gossip or casual chat. Face it, girls love to jabber n gossip about the bitch in office(not a wise move here) or the new hottie bloke. Where else better to chat than whilst taking a leak and sharing the juicy bits?

5) Powder up & share make up. Yes, for unknown reasons, some girls share make up & tips together without regard for hygiene. Zee loo is where one can transform a gal from zero esteem to infinite confidence. Think, pouty lips and manga anime eyes. Guys totally dig it.

6) How come girls pee at the same time?

It's no coincidence of course but girls are the pee pee kinda people. It's a known fact that girls pee more than boys. Many times a day, even if you didn't know or notice, girls are holding their pee. Waiting to unleash. Maybe work is hectic or maybe she's plain lazy to walk. Known as the procrastination syndrome, many girls suffer from this deadly disease. Well, whatever the reason, even when u see us sitting there, legs crossed, fingers typing, yup we're holding it. So the relief finally comes when someone asks "Wanna go toilet?" and the gal totters along. So do you see how important those invites are? ^^V

7) You never know when menses might make an entrance. So to avoid trills and spills, bring a friend who can save u.

Friends that Make Me Tick

Friends make commitments that they don't intend to keep. Funnily, people do it all the time consciously or unconsciously. True enough, daily examples are horrendous. Friends that make me tick and cringe.

Say, XX readily agreed to go to this outing with me this weekend. Time and location and meeting place were set and ready to go. However, on the date itself, it was a no show. Duuuhhh! Even airlines charges money for no show fees, perhaps I should too?

Say, XX came to know about this outing and asked me indignantly “Why am I not invited?”, so I replied XX with the details of this outing. Voila! XX did not attend the outing afterall. The best part was XX does not inform me whether he/she was coming or not coming. Aha! Was it meant to be a RIDDLE?? Hmm…. I’m not so good with riddles, oh wells.

Say, after I kept facing multiple rejections from XX on hanging out sessions, XX casually remarked “Let’s catch up some time.” Kindly ZOOM IN on the FULLSTOP in this sentence. A FULLSTOP and a QUESTION MARK, it sure does make a helluva difference in the context. A fullstop ends the sentence, no commitments whatsoever, you may wish to think of it as a one night stand. A question mark however requires an answer, you may consider it as flexible commitment. Read carefully next time to avoid reading the wrong signals.

Say, XX is spontaneous hyper siao-on type of person. No matter what event or timing, XX is always EVER-READY to agree to go. I ain’t talking about a battery here, I’m talking about a human who doesn’t appear to think twice or check his own calendar schedules which might have been packed to the brim when he commits to an event . Just wondering, do you say yes before you thought about no? No. Yes, that’s just the answer I want to know. So is that a yes or no?

Yeah sure, go ahead and leave. The front door is open and kindly don’t bang your head on it along the way out alright? I don’t want any blood on my door. Thanks.

Style Trend (Elastic Tights)

Clothes can make or break us. How many times have you silently critiqued another’s dressing style and found yourself gleefully thinking “Thank goodness I look way better than That.”.

For the love of God and to avoid fashion disaster, please DO NOT wear your elastic band tights as a pair of external pants! You do not wish to look like a stuffed-up sausage, no siree.

Do couple your tights with a pair of shorts or mini skirt or a long top or absolutely anything, even a sarong that can help to hide your ass. There's a massive bunch of unconscious people walking around Singapore in nothing but tights and a short top appealing for my discomfort; to look elsewhere or just about anywhere else. Whether they have tight or loose buns, I’d really rather NOT know. Thank you. Didn't they know any better when they see other people spotting the same attire or do they selectively ignore these cold hard facts?

Ever notice why most plus sized ladies like to spot tights? (I really can't figure this out) Ever notice that even the skinniest people can't pull off a pair of tights and a short top? If the skinny can't even pull it off, how on earth can the plus sizer? (What were they thinking?!)

Verdict: Tights are not EXTERNAL pants!!! They are meant for ballerinas or dancers or for fashion statement (not disaster). Do not, I repeat DO NOT wear them by itself. They are lonely and in dire need of a companion to bring out the beauty of it.

Disclaimer: I'm not talking about cotton tights. Those are fine. I'm talking about elastic tights that bond your skin to skin. Gawd!!! Euuueeee!!! That said, please choose clothes that hide flaws and showcase your best. You do want to leave an good impression you know.

Bedtime Story: Rat Race

We all know what the 5Cs mean in Singapore. If you don't, here's the lowdown: Cash, Credit Card, Career, Condominium & Car. It’s a glorious goal that most people are striving for. However, sometimes we work so hard, running in the rat race that we tend to forget to enjoy the run. We forget the reason why we ran. We are nothing but mice. Each running in our own ‘hamster wheelies’ trying to get ahead in life, trying to outrun other fellow mice (because they are evil mice whose pure existence boils your blood each time they outshine you. You can’t let them overtake you without a fight!) Ultimately, the first mouse that reaches the destination gets to pick his cheese first. The pecking order had begun and every mouse wants to be first. Cheese is in priority of family and friends.

Each mouse is consumed by solitariness. As time passed, they lost their EQ and need to interact with others. They focused solely on themselves. They think the world is selfish and everyone else seems to owe them a living. Rumble grumble fumble. Picking themselves up. Weary from all these years of running, yet are so afraid that if they stop, others would overtake them. Fear shrouds their mind, the prized cheese renders all blind.

One day, a brave little mouse decided to ask another mouse to join him in his run. They hop onto a wheelie and they sped on and on. It felt like infinity and the best part was, they did not even feel tired because of the lovely company each had. They had so much fun that they asked other mice to join them. In no time, they bonded and formed a strong pack. A pack of runners can outrun lone souls easily and they accumulated a massive load of the finest cheese. However, cheese is no longer the sole pushing factor from them to continue their run. They have sufficient cheese for a comfortable living for their families. In fact, the joy of running together, making friends & having time for family overrides the seduction of cheese. They chuckled at other zombiefried mice who refused to join in their pack or form their own pack.

Running together increases productivity and efficiency. They have a sense of belonging to this pack. Henceforth, it's no longer a Rat Race.

Remember that Firsts will never come if there weren’t Seconds and Thirds to begin with. We all have a place in life. No matter how puny or insignificant you think you are, you matter to someone who holds you dear. Don't let others look down on you. Better yet, don't ever look down on yourself. Make others smile even if it means you gotta clown around. The happiest people always seem to poor. But they are very rich in their hearts & soul.

The secret of happiness is the contentment and satisfaction of what I am and what I have. My own run had just begun. How about you?

Where is the Chivalry, Gentlemen ?

Chivalry is freaking dead. Let me teach you something that even BEASTS human beings should would know. This may be applied to all femmes, platonic or significant other.

Rule #1: Always treat a lady right.

#2: Open the door for her.

#3: Always look behind, hold the door if you see her coming your way.

#4: Offer her your jacket if she is cold (not your freaking body, you cheekopek!!!).

#5: Even if you are shorter than her, be the one to hold the umbrella when there's a downpour(So what if you have short legs, body and hands. Tell me, what other part of you is short???).

#6: When walking beside her on the pavement, you should take the side closest to the road.

#7: Offer to send her home when it's past midnight, if she declines, accept it. Don't push your luck ma' brother.

#8: If you do send her home, walk her to her door. That's only polite and ensures her safety ain't compromised.

#9: Always ask her how she feels, what she likes to eat and where she would like to go. Dont ASSume. If she says she is fine with anything, please be a man & exercise your decisional rights & instincts.

#10: When she is carrying a heavy load, offer your damned biceps and she may just offer herself to you. *wink

Disclaimer: Chivalry does not & should not be applied to bitches unworthy souls.

Hogwarts in Singapore

You can find the Hogwarts spirit right here in Singapore.

Aboard the MRT Train

RavenClaw: Self-fullfiling harmless lot. These people will find a pole, a wall, a stranger's arm or spine and start leaning their weight on it for alls' worth. They have no backbone. Since they can't get a seat, might as well lean for abit. They also tend to Stomp people who sit on 'Reserved Seats'. All talk and no action.

Gryffindor: Righteous goody-2-shoes lot. They give up their seats and mind their personal space. They wake people who are pretending to concuss to ask them to give up their seats to the needy. They'd rather die than to be seen in Stomp on a reserved seat when there's like a pregnant woman standing 3 train cubicles away. It's better to be safe than sorry.

HufflePuff: Quiet & Cowardly lot. You will recognize them by their wide, fearful eyes. Bags pressed tightly to their bodies, eyes wary of pervs and thieves. First to run when there's any sign of trouble.

Slytherins: Evil suspicious lot. They don't believe in the exit before boarding rule. The moment they slither in from the doorway, you will feel them before you actually see them as they will be shoving, pushing, poking your back. Whatever it takes to get a seat! Poof!! They teleport to the next available empty seat before you can think "ah.. a seat".

Simply MAGICAL experience on board the MRT train.
